You’ll either be clicking on the “I already have an account” link or the big, green “ Sign Up” button to continue. You can usually get a better deal through your web browser than you can through the app itself. If you haven’t set up your account already, I recommend doing so online though your web browser using this link. Like many apps, the NordVPN Android app runs you through a little tour on the first time you open it. There’s one extra bit of configuration that needs to be done. The app only takes a few seconds to install, depending on the speed of your connection. Once you accept the permissions request the app will begin installing. In this case, the app is asking for permissions to access your in-app purchases (for the subscription device), your photos/media/files and your Wi-Fi connection information. These can change often as new features are added to the app.

In the picture above, the developer is listed right under the app title “NordVPN – Fast Secure VPN” and above the “E- Everyone” rating. I’ve been using the NordVPN android app on both my Nexus smartphone and on a couple of my streaming devices. It’s sad, because they’re missing out on so much content. I still can’t believe it when people tell me that they don’t use a VPN.
